Helium3 developed unique and highly customised 'single' and 'group' panel placement solutions. By applying geometric constraints, our specialist team modelled the visual effect of various panel set-out criteria.

Within workshops, the architects were able to drag single panels, and collections of panels in groups, over the surface dynamically, allowing them to understand the effects of various geometric constraints and to define the final set-out rules.

Repeating the process, 6123 'reptilian scales' were positioned in a 3D model prior to site. 3D point cloud data accurately communicates the centres of each panel to the sub-contractor, clearly defining their scope of works and enabling them to submit a vastly 'honed down' cost.
